Psalm 8:3-4 The psalmist wrote, “When I look at Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars that You have established; 4 what are human beings that You are mindful of them, mortals that You care for them?”

Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

Titus 1:15 To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.

Galatians 5:16 Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.

John 3:6 Flesh gives birth to flesh but the Spirit gives birth to spirit

Luke 16:13 No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one, and love the other, or else he will hold to one, and despise the other.

May you not over-value material possessions, but treat them as the tools in God’s kingdom that they are. May you find them useful but not necessary, convenient but not required, enjoyable but not the source of joy, to be assigned by God for a task, and returned to Him when the assignment is completed. Genesis 31

May you come to understand that in every conflict, God is working on both sides to do His will, not to side with man. Genesis 31

May your speech be plain, letting your “yes” be “yes” and your “no” be “no,” because speaking rashly, in the heat of emotion, will have consequences, for even though Jacob did not know what his beloved Rachel had done, his unnecessary curse came to pass. Genesis 31

May you recognize that things which can be taken from you are not gods, but merely goods, for none can take God from you, or separate you from His love; therefore enjoy such things as God blesses you with, but ensure that your love remains with Him. Genesis 31

May you be as willing to serve the living God in whatever way He directs, for the sake of the eternal Reward He lovingly provides, as Jacob was toward Laban who cared little for how much Jacob suffered and did nothing to provide for his needs. Genesis 31

May you be strengthened by God’s messengers to walk with humble confidence in God’s power and promise when dealing with this world’s powers and authorities, committing your fears and anxieties to the Lord. Genesis 32

May you always stand on the promises of God, ever prepared to quote them back to the Lord, knowing what you believe and why, ready to remind Him of what He has given you. He delights in hearing you demonstrate your trust in Him and being shown the evidence that you have been listening to Him. As a result, in the midst of turmoil and change, conflict and concern, you will not be focused on the events but will take the issues, lay them at God’s feet, and ask Him to do as He has said. Genesis 32, 2 Samuel 7

Confront Me, My child. Hold Me to My Word. Bring My promises to Me and ask for payment. Show Me that you have heard My voice and hold My words dear enough to remember, to dwell on, to have faith in and to rely on.
Demonstrate your dependence on My fulfilling My promises to you; turn from all other sources and voices, renouncing your reliance on them and come to Me with your petitions and the promissory note from Scripture that will supply the need. Require of Me that I do as I have said, and then allow Me to work.
Permit Me access to your heart and soul that I may deposit into your life the abundance I have prepared and stored up for this time.

May you come to learn that there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What the Lord strengthens you in and comforts you with when you are closed in with Him in the spirit is not to remain cloistered, but is to share with others as freely as you received it. Matthew 10

May you properly and rightfully be in respectful awe and reverent obedience to the One Who can destroy both soul and body in hell, and have no fear of those who can kill the body, but cannot touch your soul. Matthew 10

May you gratefully realize that the Lord, Who even knows and cares when a single common sparrow falls, and does not allow it to happen apart from His will, lovingly values you so much more than them, constantly considering you, knowing every detail right down to the number of hairs on your head, because He lovingly treasures you so much and cannot get enough of you, never growing tired of you. Matthew 10

May you willingly acknowledge the Lord before men, returning His love and caring only for how He views you. Then He will also acknowledge you before His Father in heaven, disowning those who spurn His love, who care more for the regard of men. Matthew 10

May you accept the fact that the Lord has come to bring peace to your heart but division and conflict on the earth. Though you need to love others as yourself, you must love the Lord more than these, and those who love themselves most will not accept you putting them in second place. Matthew 10

May you persist in your faith and rejoice in the work of the kingdom, for you will be blessed if you do not take offense at Christ. Matthew 11

May you trust in God’s unfailing love and your heart rejoice in His salvation, for He will prevent your enemy from overcoming you and you will rejoice when you see His victory over the spiritual powers that come against you. The Lord will look on you and answer you; though He let you wrestle with your thoughts for a time and have sorrow in your heart for a while, He will not allow your enemy to triumph over you. Psalm 13

May you clutch tightly the wisdom which comes from the tree of life, for you will be joyfully blessed by the long life that is in her right hand and the riches and honor, not of this world, that are found in her left hand as you walk in her pleasant ways and peaceful paths. Proverbs 3:16-18
