2 Corinthians 5:17 Anyone who is joined to Christ is a new being; the old is gone, the new has come.

Romans 8:38-39 Neither death nor life, … neither the present nor the future, … nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Psalm 69:5-6 You know my folly, O God; my guilt is not hidden from You. 6 May those who hope in You not be disgraced because of me, O Lord, the LORD Almighty; may those who seek You not be put to shame because of me, O God of Israel.

Isaiah 1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat of the good of the land.

Ephesians 3:10 God’s purpose in all this was to use the church to display His wisdom in its rich variety.

Revelation 1:7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

May you never forget that the Lord is a jealous and avenging God Who takes vengeance on His foes and maintains His wrath against His enemies, for though He is slow to anger, He is great in power and the Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished, for no one can withstand His fierce anger or endure His indignation. Nahum 1

May you always remember that the Lord is good, a strength and a stronghold for you in the day of trouble, for He recognizes, accepts and cares for those who trust in Him. Nahum 1

May you be willing to bring the good news of peace to those who live in fear and constant dread, sharing the truth of how God sent Jesus Who willingly died to defeat death and was given life again by the Father, destroying the power of the grave for those who believe on the Son of God. Nahum 1

May you gain wisdom from the experience of those who forsake and reject the guidance of God as they grasp instead for the power and might of the world, for though they express pride in how much they have gained, it will not benefit them in times of distress and it will cost them their souls in the day of God’s wrath. Nahum 2

May you be confident in the promises of God, knowing that although the enemy, like a lion, seizes his prey and none escapes, the Lord is the One Who determines which prey is seized, and He protects and hides His own, until the fullness of time when He declares an end to unrighteousness and destroys the powers of wickedness. Nahum 2

May you rejoice in the city of God, overflowing with life, filled with His truth, full of the blessings of God ever poured out to the poor and needy who come there and are never turned away, the voices of the people raised in praise to their Lord and God, as the peace of God permeates the hearts and minds of those who dwell there, multitudes without end, each supporting and encouraging their neighbor, all because of the love of the Father and of His Son Who gave His life for you that you may walk in the light and the joy of His freedom. Nahum 3

You seek to know Me, My child, and I welcome you.
Your sight is dim, but I help you find and touch My face. You have trouble hearing what I say, but I gladly speak in many different ways to your heart.
You are slow to learn My lessons, but My love for you is not based on your performance. You are feeble, but I supply you with My strength to do the tasks you are assigned. Your legs tire quickly, but My back is ever strong to carry you. Your hands are clumsy and without skill, but I am always by your side.
You weep because you cannot come to Me in perfection and holiness, but I bring you joy as I come to you in your need, bearing gifts. Lean on Me, depend on Me, abide in Me, wait on Me, that I may be your Beloved Who accepts you as you are.
I transform you in your shortcomings, making you a witness before the world to the riches of My glory, that I may draw whosoever will, for I am not willing that any should perish.

May you wait in silence before the throne, attentive and anticipating, until God gives you the message to speak, for His Word, spoken in His time, will accomplish His purpose, be it blessing upon His people who have prepared their hearts to receive Him or judgment upon His enemies who persistently embrace a lifestyle of arrogant rejection toward His rightful authority. Revelation 8

May you be awake and aware to the things God does in the world, ready to respond to the prompting of the Spirit, knowing that He makes a distinction between His people and the world, placing a boundary that the enemy cannot cross, for as you are in the world, but not of the world, so you can be His witness in the midst of turmoil, testifying to His goodness in the presence of wickedness and demonstrating His compassion in the aftermath of evil. Revelation 8

May you give thanks to the Lord for He is good and His love endures forever. Psalm 136

May you desire of the Lord to keep falsehood and lies far from you and to give you neither poverty nor riches, but only your daily bread. Proverbs 30:8
