Strasbourg to Frankfurt am Main

The huge cube I bought for our electrical needs seems to accommodate all the devices I use, plus some of she who travels with me.

I have no idea how many times we have walked past this huge tree during our days in Strasbourg, but today we finally noticed it.

It is what makes Strasbourg, Strasbourg.

We were in car 15. They make train travel so easy in Europe. We were standing right where we needed to be to board our car when the train stopped.

Hotel Meininger at the Frankfurt Flughafen (airport). Just a place to stay before flying out early tomorrow morning.

Tiny bathroom, but for the price and convenience, no problem.

Tomorrow’s plans were turned upside down today when we arrived in Frankfurt. Our flight tomorrow morning was on Lufthansa. The Lufthansa pilots union is striking tomorrow and all flights from Frankfurt and Munich (where we were to connect to fly to Toulouse, France have been cancelled.) A future post will detail all we went through to get to Toulouse on time. A hint: we will be in Germany, Belgium, Spain and France, but we will get to the canal boat on time.
