The word desert conjures up an image of sand, but that is not what the desert around Quartzsite is. The surface is covered with rocks allowing vehicles of all types to drive on it. This has been an almost perfect week so far, weather-wise, with gentle breezes at times and daytime temperatures in the 70’s falling into the 40’s at night. The best part is the bright sun all day long that allows our solar panels to completely recharge our batteries each day.
