Men of Clay 2

Following the rebellion in Eden, Jehovah kept his purpose moving forward. He made arrangements for imperfect humans to worship him acceptably (Heb. 11:4–12:1) inspired any number of writers -including prophets such as Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel about the restoration a prominent Bible theme. The prophecies would all be fulfilled by Jesus Christ. (Gal. 3:16) the Champion of pure worship, as he clearly showed by his reply to the third temptation.

Jesus is the one whom Jehovah chose to fulfil the restoration prophecies. (Rev. 19:10) He would deliver God’s people from spiritual captivity and restore pure worship to its rightful place. But why was it allowed to go wrong?

How did we manage to allow such a foolishly little thing get in the way?

“Take these things away from here! Do not make my Father’s house a marketplace!” His disciples remembered that it was written, “Passion for your house will devour me.”

It wouldn’t devour manybody else for thousands of years in the meantime the banking houses and money changers have all got richer without change (they just don’t like giving any.)
