As a new week arrives, the first RC for 1.5 arrives with it. And for our Mac users, worry not, Mac is back once again! With today's build we've fixed several regressions, proprietary media support on OpenSUSE, bookmark title dragging, as well as ungrouping of tabs. Our Show Tab Cycler has been updated to respect tab order. The full list of fixes is listed below in the changelog.

Our focus towards 1.5 is fixing any regressions since 1.4, so when reporting issues in the comment section below, please keep that in mind.

The next Vivaldi version is almost ready, loaded with important fixes and a couple of new features.

Headlining features of 1.4 are Theme scheduling, Web Panel improvements and the ability to restore closed tabs by middle-clicking on Trash.

Please help us get 1.4 ready for launch by taking this release candidate for a spin!

As each day passes, we close in on the next TP. We are spending lots of time fixing as many issues as possible to make the TP3 as good as it can be. We hope you are as excited as we are.

To mention some of the most important changes and fixes, we fixed several issues related to installer/autoupdates. It should no longer cause any of the update/uninstall issues seen in the previous snapshot build.

This week’s big news is an update to Chromium 41. It has been merged into Vivaldi, changing up a lot of code, you can find Chromium 41’s changelog here. We’ve enabled first implementation of auto-update although it’s only available on Windows 32-bit so far. There is still a lot of work to be done before it is completed, but the basics are now in.
