… Heutige Tabletgeräte mit elf Zoll Bildschirm Diagonale und mit ausgereiften leistungsstarken Prozessoren versehen optimieren die bereits angenehm kompakten und materialleichten Notebooks, machen die bislang wuchtigen Geräteformen eindeutiger hin zu einem schmalen transportablen Baumaß, das unkompliziert in veränderbaren Lebens- und Arbeitsumgebungen verwendet werden kann und ein Handhaben von unterwegs quasi aus der (Jacken)tasche ermöglicht. Wo das Tablet bei vierzehn Zoll endet, dort beginnt der faltbare und damit einfach transportable auf dem Schreibtisch aufzustellende Bildschirm, die Tastatur nebst Maus anbei. Wo das Tablet mit seinem elf Zoll Bildschirm zum Klassiker wird und die Buchgestaltung druckreif sich auf dem gehärteten Gorilla-Glas-Display zeigt, da hat sich das Foldable smart entfaltet und der Eingabestift notiert den gerade Einfall. Wo irgendwann die Zukunft beginnt, da wird das heute je nach Preisklasse bereits sehr gute OLED-Display und stromsparend optimierte AMOLED-Display durch solch eines ersetzt werden, das mit elektronischer farbiger Tinte, der P-Ink, genauer gesagt mit photonischer Tinte, arbeitet und eine dem Papier nach empfundene Lesbarkeit aus allen Blickrichtungen und Lichtverhältnissen als hervorhebende Eigenschaft hat, sowie äußerst energieeffizient ist. Es ist die Quasirückkehr von Lesen und Notieren unter Verwendung eines nunmehr elektronischen Griffels im Gegensatz zu bisherigen verwendeten gewitzten Schreibgeräten wie Bleistift mit Grafitlagenschreibspitze, mechanischer Tintenpatronenfüller, kugelbespitzte Kugelschreibermine und mehr. Ein weiterhin handschriftliches Schreiben auf einer modifizierten (Schreib)tafel als eine gehärtete, aber noch biegsame, Polymer-Papierseite als hauchdünnes Display, die zwischen den zwei Seiten, soweit das variable technische Prinzip, einen elektrophoretischen Flüssigkeitsfilm trägt, in der sich Mikrokügelchen aus Plastik in elektrischer Spannung anregen, um für das menschliche Auge entschlüsselbare Pixel einzurichten. Also ein individuelles handschriftliches Schreiben nicht nur als stilisiertes Kulturgut, das Luxus wird, ein entspanntes Lesen abseits der Sorge um Akkuladedauer und damit Verfügbarkeit der Technik. Dies alles an alltagstauglichen Goodies unter Verwendung eines zum digitalen Schreib- und Lese-Tablet ausfaltbaren Smartphones, dem mit elektronischer Tinte verwendbaren Foldable als einer bislang in der Menschheitsgeschichte unbekannten, extrem kompakten, vielseitigen und effizienten wie faszinierenden Technik, die die bekannten Vorteile von Papier, Buch, Akten und Bildgebung einschließlich Audio und gesprochener Sprache extrem zu einem mobilen Werkzeug gebündelt ausreizt. Nicht gänzlich dem Papier in Haptik und Schreibqualität aus geglättetem Zellulose- und Fasermaterial und dessen Haltbarkeit der Aufbewahrung über die Zeiten vergleichbar, aber an die jahrhundert- und jahrtausendealten menschlichen und biologischen Gewohnheiten im Schreiben und Lesen sich anlehnt und den Vorteil mitbringt ein hohes Maß an digitaler Verarbeitungsmöglichkeit und Ordnung der Archivierung von damit festgehaltener Information und niedergelegtem Wissen zu haben und eine stete erneute Verwendung zeitrestriktiv on demand bei vielschichtiger, nahtloser Weiterverarbeitung über lokale und globale Kommunikationsgrenzen hinweg zu ermöglichen. Heutige und zukünftige Foldables würden, so sehe ich das, von einer farbfähigen Ink-Variante in der Smartphone-Tablet-Familie besonders profitieren und die hardwareseitige Evolution der Tablet-Foldable-Technologie zu einem an den Menschen adaptierten und auch ästhetisch alltagstauglichen Abschluss bringen. Visionen sind sinnvolle Hypothesen mit einem Hauch narrativen. Einem heutigen Smartphone vergleichbares P-Ink-Foldable ist nur dann im Alltag angekommen, wenn die Bildaufbauzeit bei derzeit machbaren 1500 ms in ACEP-Farbdarstellung mit Mikrokapseln aus dem CMYW-Farbsystem stattfindet und die Stifteingabezeit bei heutigen 30 ms im Schwarz-Weiß-Modus bei voranschreitender Geräteevolution liegt.
Der Mensch hat sich damit seinen digitalen Stocherstab gebastelt. Eine komfortable hybride Schnittstelle von biologisch zu technisch-informationell. Wie sein Vorfahre, der nichtmenschliche Primat, wird er dieses futuristische Stocherwerkzeug dazu verwenden, die ihn umgebende Welt zu erkunden, zu verstehen und seinen Bedürfnissen nach anzupassen. Es ist die zeitgemäße Schnittstelle zu den Goodies von Internet, Serverpark und damit verbundenen Cloudspeicher, Software-App, AINLP-System und was als sophistikates Ding noch kommen mag, dem Ort, wo sich die digitalen Termiten in Bits und Bytes finden lassen, die seinen geistigen Horizont ernähren und erweitern und ihn zu konkreter Handlung in seiner Umwelt führen.

It is the quasi-return of reading and note-taking using a now electronic stylus, as opposed to previously used crafty writing instruments such as graphite-tipped pencil, mechanical ink cartridge fountain pen, ball-tipped ballpoint refill and more. A further handwritten writing on a modified (writing) tablet – a hardened but still flexible polymer paper side as a wafer-thin display, which carries an electrophoretic liquid film between the two sides, as far as the variable technical principle, in which plastic microspheres excite themselves into electrical voltage to set up pixels decipherable for the human eye.
