Cleaning the Dyson V10 Cyclone Filter

We absolutely love our Dyson vacuum cleaners, so much so that we have one for the 5th wheel RV and Coach House and another that stays in Sophie, our travel RV. When the V10’s filter light came on it was time to go to YouTube and look up what to do. Discovered it mean the small removeable filter for the motor clogged. A quick twist and pull and it was off. We had never cleaned it since we bought it, and it obviously past time.

A quick rinse under cold running water and was looking just like new. Left it set for a day to completely dry, reinstalled it in a couple of seconds and the Dyson was once again good to go. We’ve owned a number of vacuums over the years and simply put, nothing comes close to being as efficient and useful as our Dysons. Expensive? Sure, but more than worth it.
