The best advice I have ever seen about learning a new complex app is to just use it over and over and slowly but surely you will come to understand it. I’m still in the baby step mode with Davinci Resolve 18, but the more I use it the more I really do understand it. Unfortunately truly basic simple tutorials are extremely few and far between, but by going through a lot of garbage a true gem is occasionally uncovered and it took one of those for me to truly understand 3D lighting in Davinci Resolve.
