It blanked out one last time a couple of days ago so I left it cool, not realising it was still on. When I went to use it later it was very hot so I shut it down and took it to the local cowboy.
He reckoned it is damaged beyond recovery. He put a fan in and cleaned it but it gets hot if you run too much on it. and replacing the processor is not worth it for an old machine. I would like to cut an hole for another fan maybe one day.I am using it now as it has my settings. He is rebuilding my old laptop
